It took me forever to figure out how to install social media buttons! So, I thought I'd share the information for anyone that may be struggling with it as well. It's a very simple process!!
1) Create A Social Media Button using Photoshop or another graphic program. I would recommend creating buttons within the 40x40 or 60x60 range.
2) Upload the button images to a third party hosting site such as Photobucket or Flickr!
3) Use the following HTML code to copy and past into your HTML widget within your blog (applies to both Wordpress & Blogger!).
4) Go through the HTML Code below and replace each "Insert" statement with a direct link to your coordinating social button design (that would be the Photobuck or Flickr direct link) and a link to your social media (such as http://www.socialmediawebsite.com/mypage, etc.). Replace the words in red WITH YOUR OWN PERSONAL LINKS. Unless you just want to advertise my site. HA! ;-)
