Sweet Little Blessings

Little "J"( as we call him in public online settings) has brought so much joy to our home! He has the sweetest spirit and SUCH a tender heart. I think it is both humbling, yet encouraging to see how much a child can change your perspective.

The other night, Josh gave me a few minutes to myself while he took care of Little J. I made some iced Teavanna and started a book by Karen Kingsbury. I love that she uses both scripture and worship songs through out her stories. They always leave me feeling inspired and encouraged.

Yesterday, we tackled the "kiddie" room. We organized, decorated, and cleaned our hearts out. When we finished, the little guy just beamed. And we promptly pooped out on the couch. Ha!

I am thankful for God's grace.
I am thankful for my husband.
I am thankful for Little J's Texas sized smile.
And I'm thankful for sunshine.

What a beautiful post. It's a good habit to be thankful for things every day.
Teavanna is also a winner in my book. What type do you drink? :-)

Aw! I'm so happy all is going well for you guys and for Little J.

Teavanna? I will have to look into that. Sounds good!

I think it is so great what you and your husband are doing! Foster babies need so much love! I have some friends who live by tevanna tea. I should check it out.
