Our Life Story Book

Last night I was going through our pictures when I realized that since we've been married the only "album" that we have is from our wedding. And while I cherish those pictures I really want to have documented memories from other "seasons" of our life.

Thanks to Pinterest, I was inspired to create a "Life Story Book", documenting pictures, memories and tokens from our life together. I've had this 8x8 scrapbook for a while now and never knew what to do with it. It's a perfect size for adding pictures, stickers, tickets and other memorabilia to the pages.

The first page viewed above was topped  off with a "Life is Good" sticker next to pictures that were taken during our dating days. Back then, I drove a while Seabring with a Life is Good sticker, almost identical to that one I have on the page. It was a fun, simple way to preserve those memories from days gone by!

My goal is to create at least two pages a month! That way I can catch up with dating pictures, wedding pictures, honeymoon, anniversary, travels, etc. It will be nice to finally have our memories set aside where we can reminiscence with hot cocoa and our life book around the fire place. ;-)

How do you preserve memories? I'm also inspired to create a honeymoon scrapbook with a specialized tone and layout.

Love the life story book! My blog is pretty how much I how remember/perserve memories. And pictures, but I need to get better at taking them!

Good question about P90X! I was always interested because I have heard great things but could not get past the price. I would rather spend $9 on a Jillian video that was just as hard. But a coworker had it and didn't use it and didn't like it so she gave it to me. I can't say no to free!

What a great idea...seems like Pinterest has all the answers lately and I like that you can add other mementos- I usually use a service like snapfish and make my albums online...which for me is a time saver!
Found you on the Romance on a Dime Hop- if you'd like Ladies Holiday on Wednesday for a book hop and/or Friday to add your favorite photos (from a post is fine!)
Happy Tuesday :)

Well you're ahead of me on the wedding album! We haven't officially put one of those together, yet, though we really want to and plan to. We did start one when we were dating......and then got behind. LOL So we have catching up to do for sure! But I like yours!! :)
