Peacemaker

It sneaks up on me sometimes. The cold reality of bitterness.

Bitter at the person who betrayed.
Bitter at the person who should have been trusted.
Bitter at the world for evil.
Bitter at one who would hurt the helpless.

When I'm tempted to speak ill, to fall back on what I know is right, I seek help from above.

Peacemakers don't give into gossip.
Peacemakers don't get even.
Peacemakers don't stir up trouble.
Peacemakers don't repay evil for evil.

I want to be called His child.

The path to peace is the only way.

Blessed are the peacemakers...

Very nicely written post =) I as well strive to be a peacemaker though at times it is hard!

Yes, I struggle when I feel hurt, but I try not to stay upset, and then just let it go, and give it to God. Did you take these pics?? So pretty!

Gorgeous photos!

I have recently learned first-hand about the ugliness of bitterness and the need to turn it over to God. It's amazing how easily the bitterness can come and set in and how difficult being a peacemaker is. I've got a long way to go but with his help it gets easier!
