It's 5:45 am. I'm on vacation, but my internal alarm clock goes off anyway. Usually, I'd roll over and go back to bed.
But, not today. The warm golden hues filtering through my window tells me this is a sunrise worth watching. I pull on a hoodie, grab my camera and head out. A few others have the same idea, as we all saunter towards the sunrise, whispering morning greetings. Complete strangers. United by His handiwork.
Purple. Pink. Orange. Gold.
Hues painted across the sky, glimmering on the ocean and waking us up with a beauty only He can paint. It's a pull stronger than the strongest coffee beans. Today, my caffeine junkie is jolted by a change.
A change of perspective.
I love the ocean. I love the Sunrise. Especially when shared with my best friend. But most of all? I love watching His beauty untangle before my eyes.

There is something absolutely wonderful about photos on the sunset. The sunset is one of the few things that might actually look better in a picture than it does in reality. :)
