Colors of Spring, DIY Project & Prison Break

My brain is going 90 to nothing today. So, here' three random things that I really wanted to share. They have nothing to do with each other. Yes, I am ADD. Very much so...ha!

Pretty in Pink Project 52, Week 12

First, I'm in love with the colors of spring. Normally, I don't go for bright or "Easter" colors. But, this year, I'm just in love with them all! I captured this image last night during a sun set. The natural lighting was perfect and filled with a golden hue. Loved it!

I've been in the mood to create fun DIY projects. When I saw a few "letter" signs created on Pinterest, I decided to make something fun for the kitchen. I picked up block letters at Hobby Lobby, turquoise spray paint and scrapbook mount squares.

I liked the way they turned out. But, then I decide recycle an old magnet then hot glue the pieces on the back of each letter. To create giant magnets for our fridge. Now, folks like to rearrange the letters to form "ate" or "tea". Aren't they clever. :P

Recently, we were caught up with all our favorite shows on Netflix (Bones, Psyche, White Collar). To help fill in the gap, we decided to try Prison Break. At first I really liked it. However, the suspense in this show is KILLING me. Seriously, it stresses me out! Which is strange, given the fact I loved 24. But the suspense in this show is different. It's constant. There is no breaks with humor. It's just a constant barrage of suspense. We're just now finishing up the first season, so I know I'm light years behind everyone else...BUT OH MY GOODNESS. Does anyone else fill this way while watching the show? Why's it bothering me so much? Eek!

What a neat, crafty idea! I'd like to do something like that in the laundry room.

  13. Your letters look great! I tried watching prison break a while back, but it was too intense for me. Especially the incident with the garden clippers. Yikes!

  14. What a beautiful photo! And I love your "eat" sign.

I've never watched Prison Break, but I have a friend whose husband watches it, and she says she can't watch it with him, because she gets too worked up and stressed out when she watches it.
