Blessed Are The Peacemakers

For This Monday

#146 For the "Staycation" that Josh surprised me with. He rented a suite in the next town over, took us out for Sushi and spent the next day hiking/shopping. It was wonderful! Thank you, babe. Few things are wonderful as working at our marriage & keeping the romance alive. ;-)

#147 For keeping my mouth shut when people are unfair towards their family/spouses. And being reminded of what it means to be a peacemaker...yall, this is a struggle for me. I tend to say what I think and walk off without regrets. But, sometimes that's not the right route.

#148 For sunshine, beautiful views, my Teva sandals, pedicures and toe rings.

#149 For girl scout cookies, watching The Muppets and trying new things.

#150 For more answered prayers regarding the changes taking place. God knows...

Happy Tuesday!

  5. Truly hard to be a peacemaker...it's funny, but I've been emphasizing to Marin that she needs to be a peacemaker with her little brother. It's a tough road between being a peacemaker and being an ensign to all nations. It's best to hold my tongue sometimes (however HARD that ALWAYS is), but I will always stand for what is right. Somebody has to say to say the truth, even just once and be done. Not to brag, or to make anyone ashamed, but to give a clear message that this is what *I* stand for. I hear ya' though, it's not an easy path!

I am always too quick with my words...or not quick enough. There's no middle of the road for me :-)

Wanted to remind you that I'm also doing a giveaway on my blog today through Sunday, related to my other post about keeping in touch.
