Love Makes My World Go Around

So yesterday I was kinda down....and whenever
I start feeling that way, I have to sit down and
count my blessings. And the best thing of all?
Was that God blessed me with a super handsome, amazing

h u s b a n d.

And I love him.

Life is never perfect. There are days when we argue
and disagree over the silliest of things. But,
when all is said and done, I learn to love
him more and more every day...
even his quirks.

Because, if you were to ask him about my
quirks, he'd probably have a list
about a mile long. But, hey we
fell in love...quirks and all, right?

People make fun of us because we love to be together so much
But I think that's what makes our marriage so beautiful...
we love spending as much time together as possible,
finding fun things to do that we both enjoy.

I think I'm pretty lucky...no, pretty blessed, to spend
the rest of my life with him.

So what about you? What things has God brought into your life that makes you realize how blessed you are?

  1. My hubby!!

Like you, I find he has quirks. Some of them are more apparent now than they used to be and I'm sure that I will see more clearly as the years go by . . . . but we did fall in love knowing that we are each imperfect. And we LOVE to spend time together, just like you and Josh. Finding new things we both enjoy. Savoring the "old" things we do. I am very, VERY blessed to have him as the love of my life and a wonderful, supportive man! :)

  2. My hubby and family! I think it's amazing that God has placed me with my family and in turn led me to my spouse. I couldn't imagine my life without them! No one's perfect but getting through those rough times makes it worth it in the end!!

  7. those pics are so cute! Hubby and I are the same way, my Mom and sister used to make fun of us, because if we weren't together, we were calling each other as much as we could ;), but I think it is pretty special and I am so thankful for him! (and they aren't making fun anymore, I think they realize how special it is too, hehe). We always say, we'll be newlyweds for forever! I'm sorry you had a tough day, I hope you have a much better day today!

  10. I swear, every time I see your hubby I think of Josh Groban, which is a very GOOD thing! Can your hubby sing too? :)
I have to say that besides my wonderful husband (without whom I don't know how I'd survive), I adore my kids, and right now especially this little girl who is going to be born in 30+ days. It's hard to carry her right now but it's a good reminder of the sacrifices we need to constantly make for the benefit and well-being of our loved ones!

  15. I'd have to say the same thing...my husband. I never get tired of spending time with him and I think when you add kids to the mix, that time alone becomes even more special, since it gets more rare. You have to get much more creative in finding the special alone moments=)

You are very blessed indeed :) It took me a long to be truly appreciative and gracious of the things the Lord has provided for me but what I am thankful for most are my jobs, education, family, and friends! 26. Like you I am also blessed with a husband who likes to spend time with me. WE do everything together. We are also blessed with 2 children, who never troubled us much, growing up beautifully and leading their lives independently as they grew up.
I have all the time in this world to do all the things I need to do, I have privacy, freedom and peace : what else do i need.
I have had this life for the last 29 years. This October we would be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary.

And I am happy to read so many people responding to your question, and all of them have only happy stories to tell. God bless.
