February is one of my favorite months. Not only is it the month of all things Pink, Red, and Chocolate...it's my birthday month!
But, I think I got one of my valentines presents early...yesterday, I got up at 6 am, jumped into my jeans and a t'shirt to head out the door. I was taking Josh to meet someone, so I didn't bother to put on any makeup. My hair was a mess...and well I was pretty much still half asleep. But, you know what?? Josh took one look at me as I headed out the door, and said "Babe, you are so cute early in the morning"... talk about feeling truly beautiful!! Gotta love the romance. ;-)
I love him. I do, I do...a million times over!

I'm not a big fan of the month of love. I just don't like the idea of a day specifically set aside for you to "do nice things" for the person you love. I believe that you should want to do nice things and show the person you love how much you care about them no matter what day/month it is.
Also, I loved the comment your hubby made. My boyfriend will come visit me on the weekends while I'm at school and says he loves it when I walk out of my room first thing in the morning to wake him up up because I look "disheveled but so cute."

Ok, this is a beautiful photo, BUT the one before of you and your husby on the couch was oh so precious. It is a lovely month, except for it being Black History month, which annoys me.

I love February and Valentine's. My favorite Valentine's day was 3 years ago when my husband proposed :)
My husband thinks I'm beautiful without makeup too, I don't get it, but boy does it make me feel special! :) I love February too because it's also my BD month and V-Day.

Nonetheless, Valentine's Day can be a lot of things, and means so many different things for different people. I try to remember those who are alone on Valentine's Day. It can be a difficult day!

I'm not normally an overly romantic, mushy person. I much prefer the day to day little things that show someone you love them. However, my husband and I are going out on a lunch date on Sunday without our kids and I'm super excited to spend time with him! We're also traveling without the kids to a wedding in 10 days and I'm excited about that. We don't get much time without our kids. This is a MUCH NEEDED break, even though I know I'll miss them immensely.
I'm not particularly fond of Valentine's day as my hubby isn't very romantic. But I try to make it fun for my daughters and let my sweetheart know I love him. Thanks for visiting my blog and I am following you back! ~Lanie

What a sweet husband you have, I bet that made you feel so special! I love this month and always look forward to V-day with my boy. I like that we have a low key day staying in cuddling and watching movies. Great workout sweetie!
This probably sounds ridiculous but the Hubs and I enjoy a V-day Fondue Pajama Party. I guess we like to snuggle at home.
