Date Nights, and such.

We had an impromptu date night this week...

Random dancing in the kitchen...pesto for dinner with Starbucks for dessert. We went home to play scrabble (Josh won!), and finished the night off with an old rerun of Murder She Wrote. We laughed the night away...and I loved every single second. <3

I love dates night. Where we just do what we feel like, and enjoy each other. It's the best.

What's your favorite date night combo?

Actually made myself stay longer on the track at the gym. Sigh...I just get so bored! Thank the Lord for my Ipod!! :D

  • 3 Miles on the track
  • Leg Exercise: Leg Curls, Squats, Lunges, and Side Lifts...all in 3 sets of 15

I love them too!! Joshy and I try to do a little "date night activity" most nights if we can :) Not always having to be "elaborate"... Like watching a episode from a previous season of The Amazing Race! So fun!

That sounds great! Our date nights in are usually my favorite. Watching TV with wine or beer and cooking dinner together = perfect. We usually end up not watching the TV and talking into the morning!

PS - your hubby looks a lot like Josh Groban!

This is really cute. Why not have a date night? It's fun to keep things fresh. I love Scrabble too. My husband and I are pretty boring we like cooking at home and watching a movie.

Sounds great! Our date nights are usually out, like to a movie or dinner, because we spend most nights in watching our shows :)

We don't have date nights that often! How pathetic is that? We need to start making time for them though!

We do the same date just about every Friday. We meet after work at a bookstore & walk a few blocks to our favorite sushi restaurant. Love date night, I look forward to it all week!

I love date nights...and we love playing scrabble too!

Honestly, we make even going to the grocery together fun. So I don't necessarily have a perfect date night. Often you'll find us on the couch on our matching macbooks typing away...but we're together and that's what matters.

I think EVERY night is date night for you! ;) Lovely. I do prefer dates that end with a nice stroll. We do our best planning, talking, opening up while on these walks. Just perfect.

"This looks like a great book!"

Thanks for the comment, it is a great book! :)

Love your picture of the scrabble board. My favorite date night would be going out to eat, or going to a movie! We are trying to cut back on our spending since are having a baby, so we don't get to do either of those very often, so when they do it is so much fun! :)

Enjoy the simple pleasures...they are all too fleeting=)
And good words on your board!

Favorite date night combo? I love going out to eat, one of my absolutely favorite things to do - and spending a lot of time in the restaurant, just talking, sitting, slowly enjoying our food, and taking our time. I also love just sitting down in our apartment and watching a movie, I love movies and I would watch them all the time if it were good for me. ;) I love date nights!
