Love Notes & Green Monsters

Josh came home the other night and asked me to come into the living room...I had a surprisewaiting...
Take out sushi, and some mushy gifts... ya know like a giant snoopy card and dozen red roses. Oh, and let's not forget the box of chocolates!

Yeah...I'm feeling pretty special. ;-)

So I mentioned on my last post I'd share my favorite Green Monster that I've came up with so far....sooooo in LOVE with it. Pretty much could drink one for breakfast, lunch, and dinner...but that of course wouldn't be well balanced. Too bad, it's just that good. ;-) (ps...just in case you aren't familiar with the green monster movement, check this out!)

Loaded Chai Green Monster

1 Cup Vanilla Soy Milk
1/4 Cup Oatmal (raw)
1/4 Cup Almonds
1 Tablespoon Greek Yogurt
1 Tablespoon Peanut Butter
1 Banana
1 Cup of Ice
2 Tablespoons of Chai Tea (I used powder form)
1 Handful of Spinach (fresh :) )

Mix ingredients in blender for several minutes...enjoy!

Yesterday, I only did a quick cardio workout and took the rest of the day off to catch up with work and spend some time with my family. :) Today...a different story. Here's my workout!

  • 20 Minute Cardio Workout
  • 30 Minute Pilates Workout
  • Abs Workout: Crunch Bicycle (2 sets of 30), Sit ups (2 sets of 15), Boat for Abs (1 set of 8)
  • Arm Workout: Arm Curls (2 sets of 20), Lat Push (2 sets of 12), Lateral to horizontal raise (2 sets of 12)
  • 15 Minute Cardio Dance Workout
I think I'm pretty much done for the day. Now I got a ton of work to do on the computer and catch up around the house!
