Scrooge? Not me!

Can I just say that the weekends are the best? I mean seriously...sleeping in and spending quality time with my hubby. I eagerly await each Friday, like a kid on Christmas morning...

Speaking of Christmas, we had a date "day" yesterday! We loaded up on popcorn, cherry coke and Twizzlers to enjoy a showing of A Christmas Carol in 2D! I gotta say I had my doubts, I'm no fan of Mr. Jim Carrey, but it was really good. I've seen so many versions of this movie, but this one definitely kept your attention through the entire story line. The music was wonderful as well! I left the theater happy that it's finally the Christmas Season. Yes, I'm one of those people...as soon as November rolls around I'm all about Thanksgiving AND Christmas. To me the two just "go together".

After the movie, we feasted on Bang Bang Shrimp from Bonefish Grill! I forgot how much I love that place. We went home to watch an old 80's film, which I don't care to share about. It was okay, but kinda sad movie. That's okay, because the Black Tie Cupcakes from a local cupcake bakery kept my spirits happy. All in all we had a fabulous Sunday as always...thanks Babe...you are the BEST thing since sliced bread (yes, I do tell him that all the time. ;-))

So, what about you folks? Are you all about the Christmas Season?

P.S. Post coming soon on several DIY projects, and confession that I may or may not have attended 3 book sales in two days...

P.S.S Speaking of Christmas...I am SOOO ready to get my Michael Buble Christmas CD out!

Sounds like a wonderful weekend! My small family went hiking! I'm with you; as soon as Halloween is over I am all about Thanksgiving AND Christmas! I always look forward to my Celtic Woman Christmas CD.

I'm like you...I start thinking about Thanksgiving AND Christmas as soon as November rolls around (well, if I'm being completely honest, I start thinking about them in July! Ha!) I'm so glad to hear that A Christmas Carol was worth seeing. I'm definitely going to see that soon.

My hubby surprise me Saturday night after a long day of laundry & raking leaves, and took me to see The Christmas Carol! He knows I adore the Christmas season and have been longing for snow flakes, and missing my Christmas music...so he thought it would be a nice treat. :)

I am SOOO ready to get out my Christmas cd's -- especially Amy Grant (her Tennessee Christmas one...) and Josh Groban.
Bring. It. One! :)

Ok, that was supposed to say "Bring it On" ...not "one". That looks really dumb.

As soon as Halloween is over it's all about Christmas for me. I like Thanksgiving but I never go gang busters over decorating or anything.

I'm already getting my Christmas stuff out and ready to go!

I can't wait to take the kids to see A Christmas Carol.

I, too, am not much of a Jim Carrey fan, but this movie looks great. I can't wait get out The Polar Express DVD and watch it, too.

Ooh, I can't wait to see that movie! I wondered about it, too, but the 3-D thing intrigued me. I am one of THOSE people, too. I wait every year for the Christmas season. It's just the best time of the whole year!

I agree! For me, the "holiday season" really starts in November and extends until the beginning of January. So Thanksgiving and Christmas really do go together! I'm glad you guys had such a great weekend!

As far as I am concerned, Christmastime is here!! My hubby had to do everything in his power to convince me not to get my decorations out already!

glad to hear you had a great weekened =) here's to a great week!

I am also one of "those" people. Today I moved all of my Christmas decorations from my attic to a closet so they will be easily accessible. And I decided that every week I'm going to put one or two decorations out until we get our tree. So there are already a few Christmasy touches here and there in my house. And I fully intend on watching the Christmas movies on ABC Family which are starting THIS WEEK!!

I can't wait to see "A Christmas Carol!" Glad to hear you thought it was good :-)

I am right this moment taking a break from putting my Christmas decorations up. My sister and I hauled it all up from the basement last night and started. Right now, I have stuff all over the dining room table, kitchen bar and island, coffee table, couch, and all the chairs. The garland is still is two huge totes in the living room floor. And my main tree, the big one, is still in the basement, along with all its' lights and accompanying ornaments. What a job! But...I love it!!!!
So sweet that you two are still so romantic and in love. I hope the honeymoon never ends for you!

I am definitely one of 'those' people! I LOVE everything Christmas! I usually wait until Thanksgiving to put my Christmas decor up but since we are not having any Thanksgiving festivities at our house and Thanksgiving is a week later this year I went ahead and started decorating! :-)
