This Southern Bride is one worn out lady...
Last night while driving through town, we stopped at a red light. When that horrible sound that you never want to hear...KABOOOOM...rang through our ears! I started crying and couldn't stop. I was too scared to look at the damage.
The lady behind us rear ended our car. Luckily, very little damage was done. Needless to say it has been rather stressful for the past 24 hours... :(
Today, all I wanted to do was stay in bed and eat Red Velvet Cupcakes. Alas, I didn't and was a responsible adult and have gone about my daily duties. Ha!

Actually, it's not that easy to get a day to relax and stay in bed and do nothing...eventually, you find something to do, which seems as if it's really important! even though its not...happens with me all the time!

So sorry to hear about the accident. I am so glad that you are okay and the damage is minimal. I know what you feel about wanting to stay in bed and eat cupcakes, a few months back an old man backed into me in a parking lot and despite the fact it wasn't my fault and the damage was minimal, i felt like crap for a few days.

Car accidents are the pits! But, at least everyone is ok and minimal damage was all that was done. Red velvet cupcakes make me feel better too!

Glad to hear that you're alright and that there wasn't much damage. Car accidents are scary. My Dad was in one when I was 10 and it changed my families lives. He was out of work for a year because of how badly he had been hurt. Sadly we were the lucky ones, the woman who hit him died. I guess the good thing that you can take from the situation is that you now have a fresh reminder to enjoy life in every moment! Feel better soon.
Oh that's too bad. Glad you are alright, but I understand the stress of it all. We wrecked our rental car on vacation this year...ugh! So not a relaxing way to end the trip.

I'm glad you are okay and the damage was minimal. That sound is horrible. I heard it the other day 2 lanes over in traffic. The worst one was when I was on the phone with my sister and I heard the crash then my baby nieces screaming. They were rear-ended and the phone was thrown from my sisters hand. I sat there bawling thinking someone was hurt because I could hear but couldn't do anything. Get some rest this weekend and enjoy yourself. XOXO
