I can't believe I never got around to posting about our 2 month anniversary! I absolutely love, love, love the fact that we celebrate our monthly anniversaries! It means a lot to me to set aside time to just remember the sweet details of our day and celebrate our marriage! Of course we should celebrate our marriage every day too... ;-)
That night, I was surprise to drive up and find him already there when I got home (he'd led me to believe he was still at work, the stinker!!!! :D I came home to a clean house, a dozen roses, starbucks gift card and a box of Godiva Mousse truffles (amazingly delish!) I was pretty shocked and giddy!!! We went out for some Italian food (of course!) and walked around Barnes & Noble for a little while. We decided to head home, stopping by for some Starbucks first...
That's when my car started acting up. By the time we got back to our hometown, we were worreid we wouldn't even make it off the highway! But alas, we did. We had to drive the car straight to the car shop....The news was bad. My cute little car was no longer worth more than a little pocket change for parts....sooooooo...
We got a car on Friday! :D Thank goodness! We love it, and we are SOOO thankful that the Lord provided a vehicle that met our criteria!

In other news, today after hubby left for work I made my very first Green Monster!
Here is my version:
The Popeye Smoothie! :D
1 Cup milk
Ice Cubes (1/2 cup approx.)
4 Tablespoons of Belagio Hot Cocoa Powder
1 Handful of chopped up Spinach (fresh)
1 Banana (sliced)
Blend until smooth. Enjoy! :)

What'd you think of your Green Monster? I've tried drinking green smoothies in the past, and while they make me feel fab, I wasn't the biggest fan of the taste. I might have to try this one though!
