Today I found my way to my favorite "quite place" on my parents property. Just two stone steps, hidden from view. A lot of tears have been shed there over the years. Sad tears, joyful tears. It was there I mourned the loss of a friend. It was there where I would send up prayers for guidance days before I left home for the first time. Today I found comfort and solitude...losing myself in the whistling wind among the trees. I'm trying to understand, despite the pain, why. So I must find strengh, and rely on faith do the right thing.

Understanding "why" is always difficult and something that may never come...but having faith is something that is in our control. Keep that with you!
