Cupcake Cafe!

For my bridal shower my mom created a "Cupcake Cafe', and hosted along with Mrs. Johnson and my Grandmother, the shower. It was beautiful beyond description, and I'm trying to forget the calories that were consumed, but let me tell you...it was worth it!

So many of the ladies shared from their years of marriage, gave their blessings and love...what a treasure! It amazes me how many people have been inlolved in our lives as we began our journeytowards marriage, and how they continue to touch our lives! Saying thank you doesn't seem to be enough!

My mother, who could beat Martha Stewart, made the most amazing cupcakes..."Mountain Top" Cupcakes...and yes, they were THAT big! Amazing! Mmmhmmm....

The theme was a "French Cafe" complete with fun Paris paraphaneila. The guest list was even kept in adorable little book with the Eiffle Tower gracing the cover...too cute!

Josh, my gorgeous trooper, stayed by my side for the shower, and helped with the gifts. So fun!

I think Mom should open up her own French Cafe!

A Little of This and a Little of That nominated me for an award! :) Thank you, girl!

Part of the award, is choosing another person to nominate to spread "the love" so to speak. So I nominate Kristen Leigh! She is new to the blogging world, but I already enjoy reading her blog!

Our Invitations finally came in! So now on too addressing the evelopes! It's getting so close! :)

Your shower looked beautiful! (I love cupcakes). You'll have to make sure that you try a macroon (a true French macroon) when in Paris. It's very cakey and wonderful. Goes great with a cup of strong French coffee. :)

Hope your planning is going well!
